   Credit Union Executives Honored  

First Choice America Credit Union’s John R. Thayer (left) and Scott E. Winwood (right) won the highest service awards of the West Virginia Credit Union League at its Annual Meeting held in Charleston, WV. Thayer was given the William Bryan Hawkins Award as a volunteer who has selflessly given time, effort and talent to the support and promotion of credit union ideals, and the betterment of credit unions in West Virginia. Winwood won the Pacesetter Award, a symbol of superior leadership performance. He was rated tops among his peers and paid staff of the other 110 West Virginia credit unions.
